According to Webster’s dictionary a game is “a contest with rules to determine a winner.”
One of the definitions of sport is “an active diversion requiring physical exertion and competition.”
Both of these definitions fit carrom.

I agree, but if it is a sport it opens the door to bigger competitions. The Olympics, maybe? Wouldn’t it be great if they did have olympic carrom.
You lot would win all the golds, and silvers and bronzes. LOL.
You are rite once this game comes in olympic we will take away all gold. Moreover different countries will invite us for coaching purposes. China where carrom is not till date will call us for coaching and our indians are money minded too they will jump their easily leaving our team. Well i waana say that indians do not need any coach for carrom. They just need a coach for laws of carrom(as indians are not great readers of books).
Well there are many players in india, in small part of india, in smallest of the smallest part of india where there are many carrom players. and they all are competitionable to all. In villages there are many carrom players. Well some teams take money from carrom players for playing a national because of huge competition. A player name oweys who was junior champ in one national was not in another national because he was thrown out by fellow players in first round man first round. So you can see wats the game in india.
And once this game come in olympics then write it, the ICF have to change their rules upto some extent to make this game difficult. Lets see where this game goes…………
India is trying to take this game to asian and olympics man are saying if more then 20 associations of world will participate in international tournament then they will think of promoting it to asian and after asian oooooooooooooooooooooooooolympics.
