Left handed or right handed carrom players

Loading ...I’ve been asked if a player is ambidextrous is he allowed to use either hand or must he use the same hand he starts with, all through the game?
I wrote a post about left-handed people a while ago, but I never got much of a response.
I still don’t know of any left-handed carrom players.
So I expect there will be even less about ambidextrous players.
Wouldn’t it be great to be ambidextrous, though.
Although now that most people use computers to write letters etc. maybe we will all strenghten our left, if we’re right handed, and vice versa.
