Who me?
I have been asked to tell you all something about the people who work for the Carrom Association.
I am being given most of the credit, (or the blame) for the site. It was started by a friend of mine and a couple of helpers.
The originator of the site has given me reams of old materials which I am sorting, editing and publishing on the site. He is still actively involved with the association and spends a lot of his time promoting, and lobbying for official status for the game with various Government and sports bodies.
I enjoy helping with the web pages and do most of the writing and researching.
It is a part time voluntary thing as we all have to make a living and have other commitments.
I’m a Scottish Silver Surfer teacher of English.
I play carrom for fun.
3 grown up kids. Divorced, but on friendly terms with ex.
I visited India often when I was younger and there learned to play Carrom. Unfortunately I haven’t been back to India in a long time.
Recently I inherited an Apple PowerBook and so I have been doing these pages for approx 6 weeks. So if there are any mistakes or problems, please forgive me. I am still learning.
See more of my work about Carrom if you are interested or have the time.
Thanks.

We are trying very hard to interest more people in the game in the UK and we would love you to visit UK to play Carrom. However there is always the problem of money. We are trying to raise prize money for competitions and to find sponsors, but it takes time. But keep checking here or our little sister site www.carromassociation.co.uk. Thanks
